Credits are used to pay for the usage of the platform. To keep things simple, 1 credit equals 1 message in your chat.
Each time a user sends a message it is processed by our AI engine and a credit will be consumed.Once you register a bot on our platform you will be able to view your credit balance as well as purchase a credit bundle.
We know quite a lot about "normal" moderation bots. Infact, Modr8.ai is produced by the same team that created Modr8.net. Through this experience we found that standard keyword filters and getting clever with pattern matching only gets you so far. Users write messages in your chat with context, expression, sentiment, short-hand and slang. This is the perfect use case for AI being able to understand and comprehend these unique features.
In addition, being able to write expressive, plain language rules allows you as the bot operator to also capture unique use-cases. Whether you want to block certain words right through to the sentiment behind messages, you are able to with Modr8 AI.
Yes! - Using our knowledge module you are able to also train your bot on your own content. If you have a website, gitbook, PDF or just a bunch of text you want your bot to learn about you can upload it using our platofrm. Users in your chat can then use the /ask command and our AI will search for the best answer and respond in a well structured and helpful manner.
It can be hard to judge how many credits you will need. We've found that a small chat will use around 100 credits a day, meaning the Starter plan is ideal. Once your chats become more busy OR if you are going to use your bot across multiple chats we recommend moving into the Growth or Hyper Scale packages.
All of our plans are one-time purchases. This means you could start out on the Starter plan and monitor your credit usage. If you think you need to go bigger, you are free to purchase the same plan (or bigger) and your credits will be added on top of your existing balance.
